"The Sprawl Too", an exhibition organized by Jefferson Nelson, opened November 14 in Klemm Gallery at Siena Heights University. The exhibit is open until December 10. Read more about Jefferson Nelson here.

Nelson, prompted by the song "Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains)" by Arcade Fire, purchased the LP "The Suburbs", and shared it with the participating artists, asking them to listen and create work in response. The resulting show, which took shape over two weeks in the gallery, includes sculpture, painting, video, digital media, installation, and musical performance, and reflects upon the contemporary American suburban landscape and its (somewhat dystopian) implications on our culture.
