Siena Heights University's closed its 2013-14 Theatre Siena season with Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice" April 3-5 in Francoeur Theater.
Published 200 years ago and set in 1800, "Pride and Prejudice" remains one of the most enduringly popular stories in English literature. Jane Austen’s novel of love, manners, marriage and morality has been remade for stage, film and television audiences around the world. Theatre Siena revisits this classic tale of the courtship between the fiery Elizabeth and the eminently eligible bachelor, Mr. Darcy. The production was directed by SHU Professor of Theater Mark DiPietro.
