A collaborative Christmas concert featuring SHU staff member Al Ballenberger and music faculty emeritus Susan Matych-Hager will be at 8 p.m. Dec. 10 in Holy Rosary Chapel on the Adrian Dominican Sisters campus. The Carillon Women's Chorale, Chiaroscuro Men's Ensemble and the Adrian Chamber Brass will join forces for the concert. The concert will include works performed by each of the individual choirs and the brass ensemble followed by the three combined groups and organ performing Christmas Cantata (Sinfonia Sacrae) by American composer Daniel Pinkham. The Siena community is invited to attend. A freewill offering will be taken. Matych-Hager is the director of Chiaroscuro, a newly formed community men's ensemble. Chiaroscuro is still looking for new members. The group rehearses at 6:30 p.m. each Tuesday in room 115 of the Performing Arts Center.
